O FOLKFARO , mostra aos habitantes de Faro, e a todos os que visitarem a capital algarvia, a magia do encontro daqueles que preservam e mantêm vivas as suas raízes - a sua herança cultural. É de verdadeira festa, no seu sentido mais puro e genuíno, que estamos a falar! Durante 9 dias e em representação de 7 países, mais de 300 artistas , entre músicos, bailarinos e figurantes, irão encher a cidade (e não só) de uma alegria contagiante, partilhando com a população a sua forma de sentir o folclore.

FOLKFARO will show the inhabitants of Faro and all who wish to visit this capital, the magic of the encounter of those who keep their roots alive-their cultural inheritance. It's a true party in the true sense of the word! The most pure and genuine fun! For 9 days and representing 7 nations, more than 300 artists, among musicians, dancers and figurines, will fill the city (and others) of joy, sharing with all their way of feeling folkdance.
